Whenever there is a divorce, it can be extremely difficult for all parties concerned
when agreements cannot be reached in relation to children. In some cases arrangements have previously been made but
these have broken down.
In matters where there are disputes between couples arrangements for children then
applications to the courts in relation to children may have to be considered. These are dealt with
under The Children Act (1989).
We have a separate site which deals exclusively with Child Law and covers issues
such as:
- Contact with children
- Residence of children
- Parental Responsibility Orders
- Child Contact Centres
- CAFCASS (Children & Family Court Advisory and Support Services)
- Social Services
- Special Guardianship & Adoption
