In December 2004 the government introduced the Civil Partnership Act which allowed
same sex couples similar rights to married couples.
Unfortunately, as more and more people enter into Civil Partnerships, it is inevitable
that these will be dissolved. Dissolving a Civil Partnership is a similar process to divorce and we can assist and advise
you in relation to this as well as other issues that may arise such as:

If you are in a Civil Partnership, the property
and financial issues are dealt with in a similar way to on divorce. We are able to represent you in any dispute over
finances or if you are able to reach an agreement can draw up an agreement which records any settlement reached.
Couples separating who are not in a Civil
Partnership can still have many issues such as children issues and issues over property and finances. If couples are
co-habiting their rights to a property can be complicated and you would need expert legal advice.
